It identifies priority challenges, shapes interventions, convenes investors and supports delivery over the long term, using investing for impact to help solutions develop and scale.
The Cambridge Pledge is one of those partners, so pledges achieve more by working alongside capital from other investors:
Cambridge City Council, The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, Suranga Chandratillake, The Crown Estate, The Cambridge Building Society, Better Society Capital, the Church of England Social Impact Fund, and the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
We’re deploying £10m now. As delivery and track record build, the ambition is to scale to a much larger fund - around £300 million.
